Short Squeeze Watch
Pulls the latest FINRA consolidated short interest report (days-to-cover, short-position size, change vs prior period) for US-listed common stocks, ranks by short-interest size, then emits a long-bias card only for names whose live price is breaking out (above the 20-day EMA with a 5-session return of at least +3%). Short interest is sticky, so its reporting lag is acceptable as the 'is this heavily shorted?' filter; the breakout trigger keeps the signal timely. Conviction scales with days-to-cover + breakout strength. Naturally produces more cards during squeeze waves and fewer in a calm tape.

A heavily-shorted stock that starts breaking out can force short-sellers to cover, adding fuel to the move — the classic short-squeeze setup, built from real short-interest data plus a live breakout trigger.
